You learned all about me in my last email, so today I want to meet our Medical Director at PEAK Integrative Medicine.
Her name is Dr. Liana Rodriguez, and she wrote this message for you to introduce herself:
“I’m so excited to be a part of Peak Integrative Medicine!
For the last few years, Buddy and I have been a part of the same mentorship community for Functional Medicine Providers looking to change the world of healthcare and still maintain a life while doing it.
Needless to say, it was an obvious, full-body YES when he asked me to partner up.
I’m an Osteopathic Physician of 14 years, with a background in Internal medicine and certified in Functional Medicine.
There is a whole list of titles, accolades and achievements you could google about me (I’ll put them on our website).
But let’s cut to the chase, shall we?
Here’s what you really need to know about who I am:
I believe life is about the journey and less so the destination.
I was born and raised in New York City.
I’ve prevailed through years of adversity, discrimination, and abuse to get to where I am today.
I’ve done the Tony Robbins firewalk.
I’ve invested in countless hours of personal development and strive to be the best version of myself at all times.
I live my life with intentionality to ensure it’s full of meaning, love and joy.
I believe it’s the hard conversations that set us free, and I’m not afraid to have them, with myself first.
Whenever I’m knocked down, I get back up stronger.
I take my own health VERY seriously, and I have a strict self-care regimen.
After all these years of practicing medicine, I believe that disease is caused by more than just the physical culprits of poor lifestyle choices and genetics. And this is how the system has failed people.
Health is more than just the physical parts of us.
We have a heart full of feelings, a mind full of experiences and a soul that thrives on connection.
So when we talk about “getting healthy”, it has to be through this lens.. acknowledging the sum of our parts.
With that being said.. my intake forms will be lengthy.
The questions I ask might seem a little tangential.
But I want you to know that it’s all in the name of healing holistically and YOU having the BEST journey possible.”
And probably the most important thing for you to know about me is…
I’m a cat person with a dog. Her name is Ginger Rogers.”
